Cool Joes 4-0 Krane FC
A disappointin match for krane fc as we lost 4-0 to cool joes. The game was held at sji. I would like to thank the supporters for comin. We're terribly sorry for the poor performance. I would also like to thank every team member for their effort put in the game, although i felt they werent playin at their best. and thanks soonheng and alf for comin to play for us.
Krane FC started off with a slow and cool joes took advantage of it by attackin us, perhaps it was a lack of match fitness. Cool joes were potent in their attack and the defence was havin a terrible time. We had several chances to go infront, but the opposition keeper was up to task when he saved a goal bound shot from justin.
A defensive lapse from weiquan led to the first goal. He was caught ball watchin as the cool joe striker went in bravely to intercept the ball, and it was volleyed in beautifully. The morale of the team was brought down but justin kept encouragin us to go on.
The second goal we let it was a misjudgement from our keeper kendrick. The opposition goalkeeper took a goalkick from the halfway line and it flew right into the top of the net.
Our new recuit yaojie was introduced and he made some impact in our attack. Cool joes defended superbly which neutralized our attack.
HT 2-0
Several changes were made as ozy became the keeper while kendrick took over his position. Like in the first half, Cool joes kept attackin us. A defensive error from kendrick allowed the cool joe's right winger to get the ball and slot it into the back of the net. Ozy did a great job by chargin out but unfortunaetly the ball still went in. I would like to thank ozy for his bravery.
Late in the second half, a corner was conceded by us. Poor manmarkin and positionin had cost us another goal. The last goal had sum up our game. Very disappointin indeed.
To the team : i would like to sincerely apologize for my poor performance. I will try to work hard and do better in the next game. The next game will most prob be durin our hols as now the poly exam week is approachin and good luck to all for their studies. More updates on upcomin games will be posted and pls check the blog regularly. thanks.
